Sicily/Rome American Cemetery and Memorial (Nettuno)

The American Cemetery and Memorial in Nettuno started as a temporary war cemetery for the fallen of the campaign in Sicily, Salerno, Anzio and Rome, two days after the Allied landing at Anzio in January 22, 1944 at 2 a.m.

7,861 soldiers buried in Nettuno, which represent 35% of the burials originally made ​​in Sicily and southern Italy. Collected in 490 graves are the remains of those who could not be identified.

Although 16 women, including Red Cross Nurses, Auxiliary soldiers and civilians, are buried here.

The British War Cemetery at Le Falasche (Anzio)

Accommodates 2,278 Fallen. It is the British cemetery in Anzio bridgehead, along the highway 207 Aprilia-Anzio about 7 km from the city center. It houses the remains of 2,298 British and Fallen Empire, of which 1,980 in the United Kingdom, 70 Canadians, 6 Australians, 4 New Zealand, 25 South Africans, Indians 4, 9 and 260 various Unknowns. At the entrance stands the symbolic block of marble of the "Stone of Remembrance." On green background, center, dominates the high "Cross of Sacrifice."

German Military Cemetery (Pomezia)

The Military Cemetery is located west of the Germanic Latin-Rome Road, on Route 148, the Pontina, about 26 km southeast of Rome. In this cemetery lie the fallen Germans at Anzio-Nettuno clashes, and the central-southern Italy for a total of 27,487 casualties.

Field of Remembrance (Neptune)

The Field of Remembrance is located in Via Rocca Priora (just off the Via dei Frati) to Neptune. It has about 72 members of various departments of the Fallen CSR in the 1943-1945 period

Opening hours: all year round on Saturdays and Sundays: 09.00 - 12.00
